Happy Halloween Bookish Babes! This has been such an exciting and busy month!
Today I want to share some of the things I’ve been up to out in the world and here on the internet.
SEPTEMBER WRAP UP
Happy Friday Bookish Babes! As some of you may know I’ve stepped away from blogging to explore the realm of YouTube, however I still want to post on this space occasionally letting you know what I’m up to. Starting today my goal is to at least have a wrap up post every month for you guys.
So, what’s been going on in September? Work wise (I do have a 9-5 desk job that pays the bills) it’s been a little stressful lately due to a busy season in my field, but overall doing alright. At home I’ve also been pretty busy with rearranging some of our apartment. We’ve lived in our current apartment for a year and a half and it’s constantly a work in progress. Recently we had our balcony power washed and are working on setting it up as a nice outdoor space for the cooler months….which who knows when that will be, I do live in Texas after all. I do get to escape this hot weather soon though, we’re going to Seattle in a week! It has always been our dream to live in Seattle, even though we’ve never been there…. So we’re pretty much either going to be disappointed and change our life plans or we’re going to come back itching to move IMMEDIATELY. While we’re in the Pacific Northwest we’ll also be attending the Halloweentown festival in St. Helens, OR! I am so freaking excited for this, we’ll also be doing our first attempt at vlogging during this trip! Well, that’s pretty much all of my updates for this month. Exciting New Beginnings // Blog Update
Happy Monday everyone!! If you caught my last update post you’ll know that a few months ago I launched a YouTube channel with my husband reviewing movies, TV shows, comics, books, etc. Well, it turns out I REALLY enjoy making videos.
So…I started a Bookish Beauty YouTube channel! All of the content I’ve been posting on this blog will now be over on YouTube in video form. I may still blog occasionally but I do plan on putting majority of my energy into YouTube. I am so thankful for everyone who has followed this blog over the past year and a half, you guys have helped me grow and learn about myself more than I can express. While I know this may be disappointing to some of you who much prefer written content over video I hope that you’ll support me with this new project. I’ll leave you with the videos I have so far, I look forward to chatting with you in the comments!

May Wrap Up & Life Update!
Happy June everyone!! Despite the fact that it is getting unbearably hot here in Texas I’m excited for June because it’s my birthday month! I will definitely be treating myself to some makeup and book goodies here soon, so keep an eye out for a post about it.
This Healthy Life: A Beginning
Welcome to Spring Bookish Babes! For the past 15 months this blog has been focused solely on books and makeup, but today I want to start something a little different. Lately I have been spending a lot of time focused on making healthy changes to my life. I’ve never been one for diets or health fads, I much prefer to make changes that are attainable and long lasting. I want to share the steps I’m taking to live healthier in all areas of my life and post weekly logs updating you with the healthy recipes, workouts, and mental health tools I’m using. My hope is that this will help hold me accountable, provide you guys with tips (and that you will share your tips with me!), and provide a place for conversation.

Happy International Women’s Day everyone! In honor of today I wanted to talk about my favorite books written by women. I included a pretty wide mix of things including fantasy, historical fiction, memoirs, and self-help. I hope you find this helpful and pick up some of these to read for yourself!
Sephora Play – January Box
Happy Thursday Bookish Babes! My Sephora Play subscription came in a few days ago and I wanted to share my first impressions of the products with you! As usual I will be doing a full review of the products in two weeks, so keep an eye out for that.
January TBR
Happy Wednesday Bookish Babes! I know we’re already halfway through the month (I’m working on getting these up earlier in the month) but I still wanted to talk about the books I plan on reading during January. One of my goals this year (a 2017 reading goals post is coming next week!) is to read 5 books a month for a total of 60 books this year. I’m hoping my TBRs and wrap ups will have pretty much the same books on them, but we’ll see how that goes throughout the year.
Product Review – IT Cosmetics CC Cream
Happy Monday Bookish Babes! In my end of year blog survey the majority of you voted for more product reviews so I’m bringing you one today – the first one of 2017! I’ve been wanting to try the IT Cosmetics CC Cream for a long time and I finally got it for Christmas thanks to my bombtastic husband.

Hey there Bookish Babes! Today I wanted to chat about all of the books I read in December. Three of these were from the Emma Watson book club, I was trying to catch up and read as many as I could before the end of the year!
